Polka is without doubt one of the strongest newcomers to the Australian junior fashion scene.Queensland based design duo Marika Hemer & Jo Morgan are the talented pair behind this uber-cool kids fashion label.

Playful, energetic, clever and courageous; Polka summarises what childhood is all about. Not shy of colour, and definitely not short of flair – the gutsy designs feature bold custom designed patterns and prints, a kaleidoscope of rich and daring colour with unique and edgy detailing resulting in a strong Scandinavian aesthetic, whilst still being like nothing you’ve ever seen!

Not one’s to let style overwhelm substance, Marika and Jo have ensured that all Polka designs are exceptionally practical: all pieces co-ordinate together, which means you or your little ones can mix and match with ease to create stunning new combinations.

Polka’s Winter 2009 collection could best be described as Bohemian Folklore meets Contemporary Urban Street Style.

We think these Light Tan Suede Moccasins are spot on for Winter 09. Featuring layered fringing and exposed stitching they fasten with a zipper down the inner side. Please note they have 3 layers of fringing (rather than the 4 shown).
